Anthracite Railroads Historical Society

Bob Wise presents the history of the railroads that moved Pennsylvania coal using an amazing set of black and white images mostly taken by S. Botsko. These photos show vintage steam and diesel operations of the Anthracite railroads in northeastern Pennsylvania. The Anthracite Railroads Historical Society preserves the rich history about the railroads that served the anthracite coal mining region of eastern Pennsylvania.
